We are a small antique furniture and clock restoration business based in Cheshire, having over thirty years experience in conservation and sympathetic restoration. We offer a complete range of services and skills covering all aspects of cabinet making and repair work, using reclaimed timber and veneers of the same period to gain a near perfect match. Our traditional finishing ranges from wax, oil, varnish and shellac or French polishing. We use the same materials and techniques that have been used for centuries to achieve authenticity and we always try to preserve original surface, patina and colour wherever possible.

Fine period English furniture and clocks are our greatest passion, but we are happy to undertake most antique furniture restoration whether it is European made or Chinese. Each job is a unique project and the same amount of care and attention to detail will go into each commission. As well as furniture, we restore antique longcase / grandfather, clocks and wall clocks and can offer clock movement repair/servicing if required.

We also offer a restoration service for painted clock dials for both longcase and wall clocks and have been serving the antique clock trade for many years. All dials are carefully assessed, cleaned and any missing or damaged paintwork touched in. Numerals and lettering are refreshed and painted scenes or moon disks and calendar wheels are carefully restored.
